Here are the links to the cat foods we feed our Ragdolls and recommend to our pet owners.   Optimal health for our Ragdoll kittens & cats begin with a wholesome, natural and healthy diet.  Human grade chicken and turkey, foods high in meat protein, vitamins, minerals, Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids and natural preservatives like vitamin E.  This helps kittens develop strong immunity systems, gives the adult's a extra boost and easy for them to digest.  My mother always told me "you are what you eat".  We prefer foods that do not have ground yellow corn, corn/wheat gluten meal and meat by-products.   Cats are obligate carnivores and have high requirements for meat not corn and by-products, like you see in a lot of dry cat foods.  Next time your in the store pick up a bag and look over the ingredients, most brands, even popular ones, are full of corn and by-products, usually within the first few ingredients, meaning that's what is in it the most.   It's cheap, it's used a filler and we do not believe it's good for them.   We do not feel our Ragdoll kittens & cats get everything they need from one food plus not everyone is going to like the same thing.   Each site has a link to help you find the closes retailer.

Our Ragdoll moms eat a mix of: Felidae Cat & Kitten, Natural Balance, & Eagle Pack Holistic Chicken & Rice.  Our Ragdoll dads eat a mix of: Felidae Cat & KittenEagle Pack Holistic Duck & OatmealMerrick Pet Foods .  All of Gods creatures shed and especially in the spring when cats are more prone to hairballs so we usually mix in Authority Hairball which can be found at PetsMart.   Merrick Pet Foods has "finally" come out with a dry cat food.  It isn't listed on their website but do have it available on-line, some specialty pet stores and some feed stores for sale.  The small bags do have a $2.50 coupon on it.

Our Ragdoll kittens: about 4 weeks old babies start needing more then just mom's milk.  We start them out on Royal Canin BabyCat, it's the best kitten food to start "baby kittens" on and it's good for nursing moms as well.   By 8-10 weeks old their eating a mix of: Solid Gold's Katz-n-Flocken Premium Cat Food, Eukanuba Kitten and Wellness Core.  Kittens start eating can food around 6-8 weeks old (when mom really slows down nursing) ProPlan Chucky Chicken Formula.  We do not feed or recommend their dry foods.

Below are items that we have for our own pets so we can conscientiously recommend them.  For the best price anywhere please visit: Catbird & Company Pet Supplies  Each one has a link to the website page.  You can place your order with Gary (he does have PayPal) if I'm attending a cat show close to you, I can always bring your order with me for you to pick up otherwise he ships world wide.

Our Ragdoll kittens & cats are given daily "Vita-Dreams Daily Greens" by Halo.  This is a excellent multi-vitamin & mineral supplement that's all natural.  What cat doesn't love  Zanie Cat Toys , Pet Bedding & Pet Tents

Our spoiled rotten Ragdolls JUST LOVE Liv-a-Littles  whole chicken & whole cod fish treats as well as Grandma Lucy's roasted chicken & mahi mahi cat treats.  Both brands are all natural freeze dried treats.

Over the ten years we have been showing and breeding pedigreed Ragdolls, one of the hardest things we have encountered is letting our retired breeders go to pet homes.  When that time comes, we do our best to place them in responsible forever loving pet homes.  Where they will be the center of attention, king or queen of their own castle, with their own humans to dote over them full time.  No matter where they go, each and everyone of them will always have a special place in our heart.  We love them dearly and will miss them.

QGC Masquerag Caper of Catbird-seal pt. bicolor.

Mr.Caper is daddy to Phoebe, Bruiser and several other show/breeders which all are retired now.  He has lots of lovable/huggable grandbabies & great grand babies all over the world.  I think almost everyone that met him feel totally in love with him and his non-stop purr and heat putts.  Judges were always surprised with him being such a love at his age and being a whole male.  He was recently retired at 7yr.s old and now being forever loved by Becky & Randy/Galveston, TX.

Luv-A-Doll ZsaZsa Dolling of Catbird-seal pt. mitted

ZsaZsa is mom and grandma to a lot of our babies. Thor & Her made such beautiful babies together that we kept 3 show/breeders from them: Perseus, Eva & ZsaZsa Garbor.  Eva just made her a great grandma.  She is retired now, being forever loved by Judith/Houston, TX.

CH Catbird Phoebe Lou-seal pt. bicolor

Phoebe had several litters of big/extra sweet babies but like her mom Pyper, really didn't care for being a mom (the cleaning part).  She is retired now and forever loved by Josh/College Station, TX.

PurrfectDolls Pyper of Catbird-blue pt. bicolor  Phoebe's mom as well to several other show/breeders such as Phoebe's brother QGC Catbird Bruiser.  She is retired now and being a forever loved pet.

Catbird & Co. Perseus  "aka Tuffy"-seal pt. mitted  Tuffy was just to much of a LOVE BUG/PURR BOX to keep as a breeding male, he wanted/needed full time TLC.  He was retired after siring several wonderful litters that were just as much purr boxes as him.   He is being a full time buddy with the Ruiz family/Friendswood, TX.

RW DGC KatyDolls Rigel of Catbird "aka Buddy"-blue pt. bicolor   Buddy was another lovable/huggable boy with the biggest blue eyes that wanted to stay in Brenda's lap full time.  He is retired now and being a forever loved pet by Lon/Houston, TX.

CH Echoglen Chickadee of Catbird "aka Chickie"-seal point   Chickie gave us 5 wonderful litters and been one of our best mothers.  Chickie was always our door greeter, computer helper, helping the other mom's when needed and mom to Catbird's Robin.  She is retired now and being a forever loved pet by the Mitchells/Houston, TX.

Catbird's Eva Gabor-sea pt. mitted  Eva's a gorgeous girl that gives head butts, loud purrs and demands attention.  She was a wonderful mother to 2 litters.  Since we had her sister ZsaZsa, we felt it best to retire Eva because she was smaller.  Her picture of laying on her back playing with a toy is used all over as an example of our mitted pattern.  Her parents are Thor & ZsaZsa Dolling and mom to Tammy.  Her brother from a pervious litter is Perseus.  Recently retired and being a forever loved pet.by Michael/Houston, TX.
